Project 01

Overview
Wigglecam is an independent project to design and build a complete multi-camera imaging system around a Raspberry Pi platform. The goal is to capture a subject from several closely spaced viewpoints and display the resulting sequence as a short parallax animation. The project is currently in early development, with work centered on the system architecture, camera acquisition workflow, optical layout, and physical enclosure.
Approach
Define a four-camera Raspberry Pi architecture and evaluate camera-module, switching, synchronization, storage, and processing constraints before committing to the final hardware stack.
Develop the acquisition and display workflow needed to capture the individual viewpoints, organize each image set, preview the result, and generate the final animated sequence.
Design the optomechanical layout and 3D-printed enclosure around camera spacing, alignment, field overlap, serviceability, controls, display placement, and portable power.
